Heute
fuhr Colin weiter, auf die Ostseite von Dominica, wo er in paar Tage verbringen
wird. Unterwegs liegen Jacko Fall und Emerald Pool und ich begleitete ihn um
danach per Anhalter oder Bus nach Mero zurückzukommen...
Today Colin continued on to the east side of Dominica, where he will spend a few days. Jacko Fall and Emerald Pool are on the way and I accompanied him to then hitchhike or take a bus back to Mero...

Als wir am
Mittag beim Jacko Fall ankamen, erfuhren wir, dass das heutige Kreuzfahrtschiff
erst um 14 Uhr anlegte - und das bedeutete, dass wir den Wasserfall und seinen
Pool für uns hatten… was wir eine geschlagene Stunde genossen! : ))
When we arrived at Jacko Fall at noon, we found out that today's cruise ship was not docking until 2 pm - and that meant, that we had the waterfall and its pool to ourselves… which we enjoyed for a full hour! : ))

Bevor die
Minibusse die Kreuzfahrttouristen anschafften, besuchten wir den Emerald Pool (beide
mit einfachem Zugang), wo wir einem Knaben zuschauten, der den Rückwärtssalto
übte…
Before the minibuses would bring the cruise tourists, we visited the Emerald Pool (both with easy access), where we watched a boy practicing a backflip...

Danach
trennten sich unsere Wege: Colin fuhr weiter zur Ostküste und ich per Autostopp
nach Canefield und von dort mit dem Bus zurück nachhause zum Tikaz Toukite (https://www.facebook.com/tikaztoukite.dominica) in Mero... Nach 3 Tagen voll Programm
auf dem fantastischen Dominica, freute ich mich auf eines: Nichtstun...
vielleicht eine Runde joggen?

After that, our paths separated: Colin drove on to the east coast and I
hitchhiked to Canefield and from there took the bus home to Tikaz Toukite (https://www.facebook.com/tikaztoukite.dominica) in Mero... After 3 days of
busy travelling beautiful Dominica, I was looking forward to one thing: doing
nothing... maybe going for a run?
