Weil es
so schön war gestern mit Colin unterwegs zu sein, gingen wir heute gleich noch
einmal! Diesmal fuhr er mich ins Inselinnere, zuerst zur Hauptstadt Rouseau und
von dort zu den Trafalgar Fällen. Heute hatte es ein Kreuzschiff im Hafen, also
überall viele Touristen - vor allem an den kreuzfahrttouristentauglichen
Sehenswürdigkeiten...
Because we had so much fun yesterday, we went on a tour today once again! This time Colin drove me into the interior of the island, first to the capital Rouseau and from there to the Trafalgar Falls. Today there was a cruise ship in the harbour, this means there are lots of tourists everywhere - especially at the sights suitable for cruise tourists...

Etwas
nördlich liegt die Titou Schlucht, durch die man schwimmen muss, um an den
Wasserfall zu kommen. Nur heute hatte es wegen dem vielen Wasser eine starke Strömung
und man konnte die Schlucht nicht verlassen… An diesen Ort erinnere ich mich
noch vor 17 Jahren, nur war es damals touristisch überhaupt noch nicht
erschlossen.
A little to the north is the Titou Gorge situated, through which you have to swim to get to the waterfall. Only today there was a strong current because of the huge amount of water and you couldn't leave the gorge... I remember this place 17 years ago, but it wasn't yet developed for tourism.

Danach
fuhren wir etwas nördlich in den Nebel zum Fresh Water Lake und mussten prompt
eine Jacke montieren: Es war empfindlich kühl! Dafür konnten wir uns danach in
der heissen Quelle etwas aufwärmen, als der Junge den Platz endlich frei gab!
Thereafter we drove a little north into the fog to Fresh Water Lake and immediately had to put on a jacket: It was very cool! But we were able to warm up a little in the hot spring when the boy finally gave up the spot!

Das Good
Vibes Only (+1-767-2854992) war uns auf dem
Hinweg schon ins Auge gestochen – klar, dass wir hier einen Rest einlegten!
Froggie bereitete uns nicht nur einen wärmenden Coco Tee zu, sondern hatte auch
gerade etwas Organisches zu Essen gekocht: perfektes timing und good vibes
only!

already caught our eye on the way - of course we stopped off for a rest!
Froggie not only prepared us a warming coco tea, but also had just cooked organic
