Die Planung für Trinidad gestaltete sich
schwierig... Eigentlich habe ich geplant Ende Februar in Trinidad zu sein um
den berühmten Karneval zu erleben, aber ich stiess bereits im Februar auf Probleme
vernünftige Direktflüge, ein Mietauto sowie eine Unterkunft zu finden! Nun habe
ich schon mal einen direkten Flug für Mittwoch, den 12. März, nach dem Karneval
um eine normale Zeit gefunden - der Rest wird folgen... ; )
Planning for Trinidad turned out difficult... I actually planned to be in Trinidad at the end of February to experience the famous carnival, but I already had problems finding reasonable direct flights, a rental car and accommodation in February! Now I have found a direct flight for Wednesday, March 12th, after the carnival at a normal time - the rest will follow... ; )

Nach meinem Morgenprogramm mit
Duolingo (https://www.duolingo.com), Arbeiten am Blog und was sonst
immer anfällt, war ich nachmittags zu Fuss unterwegs. Das Wetter war bedeutend
besser... der viele Wind und Regen schienen vorbei zu sein... auch das Meer war
wärmer - ich befinde mich ja jetzt ein ganzes Stück südlicher und es ist schon
Frühling! ; )
Donnerstag
unternahm ich eine 4 stündige (Gehzeit) Wanderung - meist barfuss im Bikini auf
einem Strand. : ) Eigentlich wollte ich bis zum Magazine Beach, aber das war
dann doch zu weit…
After my morning programme with Duolingo (https://www.duolingo.com), working on this blog and whatever else comes up, I went on foot in the afternoons. The weather was much better... the wind and rain seemed to be over... the sea was warmer too - I am now quite a bit further south and it is already spring! ; )
On Thursday I went on a 4 hour (walking time) hike - mostly barefoot in my bikini on a beach. : ) I actually wanted to go to Magazine Beach, but that was too far...

Am
Freitag spazierte ich in die andere Richtung... zur neuen Yacht Marina und dann
zum botanischer Garten - entweder habe ich ihn nicht gefunden, oder er ist so
verwahrlost, dass er gar nicht einem Garten gleicht? Im Ford George (in Renovation)
genoss ich eine fantastische Rundsicht, bevor es 1 1/2 Stunden zurück ging.
On Friday I walked in the other direction... to the new yacht marina and then to the botanical garden - either I didn't find it, or it's so neglected that it doesn't even resemble a garden? At Ford George (in renovation) I enjoyed a fantastic panoramic view before heading back for 1 1/2 hours.

Und mein
Jogging darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen! Besonders hier auf der Grand Anse
macht es Spass barfuss und im Bikini dem drei Kilometer langen Strand hin- und
zurück zu joggen - Schwimmen inklusive! : )

course I can't without my jogging tours! Especially here on Grand Anse it's fun
to run barefoot in my bikini along the three kilometre long beach and back -
swimming included! : )
