Die grüne und hügelige Insel Grenada ist 344 km2
gross oder klein und hat ca. 117'000 Einwohner – also sehr dicht besiedelt! Dies
ist vor allem im Strassenverkehr offensichtlich… ansonsten ergibt die bebaute
Landschaft einen eher sanften Ton, da kein Gebäude höher als eine Palme sein
darf! : ) Grenada wird auch die Gewürzinsel genannt, weil hier neben Zimt und
Muskatnuss viele tropische Gewürze und Wurzeln gedeihen und kultiviert werden. Es
ist mein erster Besuch auf dieser Insel und mein been App (https://been.app) zeigt mir nun 80 (41%) besuchte
Länder dieser Erde an (USA als Ganzes, nicht einzelne Staaten)…
The green and hilly island of Grenada is 344 km2 large or small and has around 117,000 inhabitants - thus it is very densely populated! This is especially evident in road traffic... otherwise the built-up landscape has a rather gentle tone, as no building is allowed to be higher than a palm tree! : ) Grenada is also called the Spice Island because, in addition to cinnamon and nutmeg, many tropical spices and roots thrive and are cultivated here. It is my first visit to this island and my been app (https://been.app) now shows me 80 (41%) countries I visited in the world (USA as a whole, not individual states)...

Das Ocean View Apartments (+1-473-449-6507)
liegt ideal: zu Fuss ½ Stunde zur Hauptstadt St. George’s Richtung Norden und
10 Minuten zum 3 km langen Grand Anse Richtung Süden. Am Donnerstag spazierte
ich über Pandy Beach und den Yacht Marina nach St. George's. Ich benötigte die
doppelte Zeit mit meinen vielen Stopps – herrlich entlang dem endlosen Hafen und
durch den Tunnel ins Getümmel der pulsierenden Hauptstadt!
The Ocean View Apartments (+1-473-449-6507) is ideally located: a half hour’s walk to the capital St. George's direction north and 10 minutes to the 3 km long Grand Anse to the south. On Thursday I walked via Pandy Beach and the Yacht Marina to St. George's. I needed twice as much time with my many stops - wonderful along the endless harbour and through the tunnel into the hustle and bustle of the vibrant capital!

Am Freitag nahm ich es gemütlich: Mein Körper, mein
Geist sowie meine Seele brauchten Ruhe und Stille. Ist es weil ich gestern so vielen
Menschen begegnet bin? – Am späteren Nachmittag war ich dann bereit für einen
Auslauf… ich joggte nach Grand Anse, wo ich Mittwoch schon war… wieder den 3 km
langen Strand hin und zurück inklusive Schwimmen im perfekten Meer! : )

On Friday
I took it easy: My body, my mind and my soul needed peace and quiet. Is it
because I met so many people yesterday? - Later in the afternoon I was ready
for a run... I jogged to Grand Anse, where I had already been on Wednesday...
again along the 3 km long beach and back including a swim in the perfect sea! :
)
