Mein Auge
ist vieeel besser, aber es ist seeehr heiss draussen! Und jetzt wo ich weiss,
wie das Bussystem auf Tobago funktioniert und dass viele Läden Sonntags
geschlossen sind, kaufte ich am Samstag bereits mein Ticket nach L'Anse Fourmi
und zurück.
Plangemäss
kurz nach 9:30 Uhr traf der riesige Bus PTSC (https://ptsc.co.tt) von Scarborough nach L'Anse
Fourmi in Castara ein und ich setzte mich zuvorderst in einen der bequemen
Sessel. Die wunderschöne Fahrt nach L'Anse Fourmi entlang der vielen hübschen
Buchten der Nordküste dauerte etwa 45 Minuten, nur waren die Fenster nicht
gerade sauber... L'Anse Fourmi befindet sich im Hügelland, nicht an der Küste,
so entschloss ich mich mit dem Bus weiter zurück nach Bloody Bay zu fahren.
My eyeis much better, but it's veeerily hot outside! And now that I know how the bus system works in Tobago and that many shops are closed on Sundays, I bought my ticket to L'Anse Fourmi and back already on Saturday.
As scheduled, the huge bus PTSC (https://ptsc.co.tt) from Scarborough to L'Anse Fourmi arrived in Castara shortly after 9:30 am and I sat at the front in one of the comfortable seats. The beautiful drive to L'Anse Fourmi along the many pretty bays of the north coast took about 45 minutes, but the windows weren't exactly clean... L'Anse Fourmi is located in the hills, not on the coast, so I decided to ride on back to Bloody Bay.

Von dort
startete ich meine 3 Stunden Wanderung: 1 1/2 Stunden nach Parlatuvier. Zwar
auf der kurvigen Autostrasse, aber meist im Schatten. In Parlatuvier war der
Wasserfall mein Anziehungspunkt. Eine kurze Seitenwanderung brachte mich zum
dreistöckigen Wasserfall. Ich badete im obersten Stock! : )
From there, I started my 3-hour hike: 1.5 hours to Parlatuvier. It was on the winding highway, but mostly in the shade. In Parlatuvier, the waterfall was my main attraction. A short side hike took me to the three-story waterfall. I took a dip on the top floor! : )

In
weiteren 1 1/2 Stunden gelangte ich nach Englishman’s Bay, wo es sogar ein
Restaurant hatte. Ich setze mich an einen Tisch auf der Terrasse von Eula's
Restaurant (https://www.facebook.com/p/Eulas-Resturant-And-Souvenir-Shop-100081327337377)
und genoss kurze Zeit später leckeren gegrillten Mahe Mahe.
Nach
Hause gelangte ich per Taxistopp (in Tobago ist jedes Auto ein Taxi!), nur
musste ich nichts bezahlen!

Another
1.5 hours brought me to Englishman's Bay, which even had a restaurant. I sat
down at a table on the terrace of Eula's Restaurant (https://www.facebook.com/p/Eulas-Resturant-And-Souvenir-Shop-100081327337377) and
shortly after I enjoyed delicious grilled Mahe Mahe.
I got
home by hailing a taxi (in Tobago, every car is a taxi!), only I didn't have to
pay!
