Ich wollte unbedingt noch mal in das grüne Bergland von Grenada, bevor es am Mittwochweiter nach Trinidad geht... und ein Wasserfall wirkt immer anziehend auf mich! Am Montag machte ich mich zu Fuss, per Autostopp und Bus via Grand Anse nach Mount Carmel, etwas südlich von Grenville. Eine wunderschöne kurze Wanderung durch die üppige Landschaft brachte mich zu den noch schöneren 3 Carmel Wasserfällen! Fast alleine dort hatte ich grosse Lust ein Bad zu nehmen, was ich auch tat! : )

I wanted to visit the green mountains of Grenada once again before continuing on to Trinidad on Wednesday... and a waterfall always appeals to me! On Monday I set off on foot, hitchhiking and by bus via Grand Anse to Mount Carmel, just south of Grenville. A beautiful short hike through the lush landscape brought me to the even more beautiful three Carmel Falls! Almost alone there I was keen to take a dip, which I did! : )

Der Wanderweg führte mich weiter nach Marquis, einem kleinen verschlafenen Nest an der Ostküste von Grenada. Von dort erreichte ich den Yacht Hafen von St. George's in der Nähe von Belmont mit nur einem Bus.

The hiking trail led me further to Marquis, a sleepy little village on the east coast of Grenada. From there, I reached the yacht harbour of St. George's near Belmont by one bus only.

Ebenfalls zu Fuss, per Bus und Autostopp besuchte ich L’Anse aux Epines im Südzipfel von Grenada. Unterwegs traf ich Harold und seinen silberner Bus... ich hatte gerade vor einem Tag ein Foto von ihm gemacht, und als er mich nun sah, drehte er und gab mir eine Gratisfahrt nach L’Anse aux Epines. : )

Also on foot, by bus, and hitchhiking I visited L’Anse aux Epines in the very southern tip of Grenada. On the way, I met Harold and his silver bus... I had just taken a photo of him the day before, and when he saw me, he turned around and gave me a free ride to L’Anse aux Epines. : )
