Am Freitag Morgen retournierte ich meinen Mietwagen
von Aloe Location (https://www.aloelocation.fr) in der Nähe des Flughafens. Zurück joggte ich zum Flughafen und nahm
einen Bus in die Stadt. Dann benötige ich zuerst ein erfrischendes Bad und ging
wie gewohnt im Stadtstrand schwimmen.
On Friday morning I returned my rental car of Aloe Location (https://www.aloelocation.fr) near the airport. I jogged back to the airport and took a bus into town. Then I first needed a refreshing bath and went swimming at the city beach as usual.
Wie bereits gesagt, es ist Winter auf den kleinen
Antillen und das zeigte sich mit viel Regen, der die Luft bedeutend abkühlt.
Ich verbrachte das Hundewetter in meinem gemütlichen Apartment Vigets/Villa Goût et Saveurs (https://www.facebook.com/vigetsrestaurant) mit Organisieren der Fähre nach
und einer Unterkunft in St. Lucia, meiner nächsten Destination! : )
As I already mentioned, it is winter in the Lesser Antilles and this showed with a lot of rain, which cools down the air considerably. I spent the beastly weather in my cozy apartment Vigets/Villa Goût et Saveurs (https://www.facebook.com/vigetsrestaurant) organizing the ferry to and accommodation in St. Lucia, my next destination! : )

Eine letzte Joggingrunde durch Fort de France, ein
letzter Cappuccino bei Bertrand (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063594235047) und ein letztes Eis von Häagen Dazs… Ja, es war
Zeit meine Koffer und Taschen zu packen und weiterziehen… Ich hatte Martinique
als eine farbige und liebliche Insel in Erinnerung… aber das ist 20 Jahre her
und es hat sich einiges verändert… Vielleicht sieht alles anders aus auf einem Katamaran
vom Meer aus? Oder weil alles Neu ist?? Und natürlich macht das Wetter auch
viel aus: Grau in Grau sieht alles anders aus als bei Sonnenschein…

one last ice cream from Häagen Dazs... Yes, it was time to pack my bags and
suitcase and move on... I remembered Martinique as a colourful and lovely
island... but that was 20 years ago and a lot has changed... Maybe everything
looks different on a catamaran from the sea? Or because everything was new??
And of course the weather also makes a big difference: Everything looks
different gray in gray than in sunshine...
